Privacy Notice

SOUMYA SUNIL WADE operates CBAM Exporter Tracker and is the data controller for personal data processed through it. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, company, sign-in credentials or sign-in provider ID) — to create and secure your account (contract performance).
• Workspace content (installations, products, buyer contacts, emissions records, uploaded evidence) — to provide the Service (contract performance).
• Support messages — to answer your requests (contract performance / legitimate interests).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service (legitimate interests).
• Marketing preferences — to send product updates only where you have consented; you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share data with

• Service providers that host and run the Service (cloud hosting, database, email delivery).
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after closure, unless longer retention is required by law (for example tax records). Data is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within one month.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, row-level data isolation between organisations, and leaked-password checks to protect your data.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear storage in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
